A multimedia show,”The man beyond the city”, through video, theater and music, on the writer, poet and director Pier Paolo Pasolini. That’s what’s on the program Monday 27 May in Trentoto the Rosmini High School, at 8.30 pm. An initiative promoted by the musical group MotoContrario Ensemble in collaboration with the social promotion association “Fabbrica del pensiero” and the school in via Malfatti.

The common thread will be the one represented by some critical-literary texts by Pasolini but also from movie images such as “Ignoti alla città” (1958), a documentary by the Apulian filmmaker Cecilia Mangini, an adaptation of the novel “Ragazzi di vita” and, again by the same director, “La canta delle marane” (1961), based on original texts by the Friulian intellectual .

The show, introduced by Romina Zanonwill see the actor on stage Jacopo Laurino and the ensemble “Thought factory” composed of Davide Baldo on flute, Beatrix Graf on clarinet, Marco Milelli on tenor saxophone, Andrea Ferroni on violin, Roberto Caberlotto and Gilberto Meneghin on accordion.

“All these works proposed in the show – reflect the organizers – allow us to investigate the loosening of the relationships of belonging between men and places caused by the economic boom of the middle of the last century, isolating the human figures in the industrial solitude of the suburbs which has devoured their spaces rural. By reflecting on its own context of reference, the show also intends to constitute itself as moment of reflection on changes in society and the territory that occurred in the second half of the twentieth century”.
