Accused of robbery violates the residence obligation, taken to prison

CASTELMASSA (Rovigo) – Last day the Carabinieri of the Castelmassa station (Rovigo) arrested a 35-year-old Moroccan citizen, in execution of the aggravated precautionary measure requested by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Rovigo and ordered by the investigating judge.

The man, domiciled in the town, had been arrested flagrantly by the Carabinieri of Castelmassa for the crime, hypothetically accusatory, of improper robbery perpetrated in March 2023and, from the end of March 2024, the precautionary measure of the obligation to reside in the municipality of Castelmassa.

From the checks carried out by the Carabinieri it emerged that the man, between the end of April and the beginning of May 2024, he has repeatedly violated the measure applied even by traveling to the neighboring provinces of Mantua and Verona.

Following this, the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Rovigo requested and obtained theaggravation of the original precautionary measure with that of custody in prison.

The Carabinieri, having completed the formalities, associated him with the Rovigo prison.
