After the successes in the provinces of Rome and Viterbo, Mario Abbruzzese, candidate of the League in the next European elections in the Central Italy constituency, returns to his province of Frosinone and makes a “full house” together with Cinzia Bonfrisco at Villa Latina, where they were welcomed by the councilor provincial Andrea Amata and the Mayors of Picinisco, Villa Latina and San Biagio Saracinisco, in Pontecorvo in a meeting promoted by the councilor Katiuscia Mulattieri and in Cassino. Hundreds of first citizens, administrators and supporters therefore packed the halls of well-known venues in the area to give a huge hug to the “home” candidate.

Together with them the Lega deputy Nicola Ottaviani and the regional councilor for urban planning, Pasquale Ciacciarelli. “Today more than ever it is essential to defend Made in Italy – said Mario Abbruzzese – and support our farmers in the face of the challenges posed by the European Green Deal. Europe must be close to the territories and local productions, enhancing the quality, craftsmanship and tradition that distinguish Italian products. The Green Deal is an ambitious and necessary goal to address the climate and environmental crisis that threatens our planet.

However, it is essential that European policies are balanced and respectful of the specificities of each country and territory. We cannot penalize our farmers and our companies that produce in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way, but we must instead support and enhance them. Defending Made in Italy means defending the quality, authenticity and excellence of our agri-food products, which represent a heritage to be safeguarded and promoted”. “I am ready to work with commitment and determination so that Europe is truly close to the territories,” concluded Abbruzzese, “supporting local production, promoting sustainable development and defending Made in Italy. Together we can build a Europe that is fairer, more supportive and closer to the needs of its citizens.”
