LIVORNO A night at the Cecioni high school. It is the first edition for the school in via Galilei and there is a lot of enthusiasm.
“It will be on stage” on May 21st from 9pm to 11pm and the evening was entitled “between the end of the world and the end of adolescence”. «Our macro-event will present visitors with singing, literary, musical, artistic and astronomical performances. We will be able to host 270 visitors in the two hours in which our 25 initiatives will be held, all lasting 10 minutes which will be repeated 4 times during the evening, so as to be able to see a high number of performances, all proposed and organized by students and students”, explains the director Rino Bucci. The initiative is part of those of the same kind organized by the Regional School Office. Prof Alessio Traversi explains: «In this school you can do things like this, an initiative that makes you experience your role as students differently, even if, in my opinion, we must enter into the order of ideas that this is also a school with a view to participating in a growth path. The initiatives will all be the result of the kids’ creativity, the live painting, the video making, the rock concert, the credit is all theirs.”
Professor Laura Lorenzo illustrates the initiative which will allow you to observe the stars from the fourth floor, the most panoramic point of the high school in Via Galilei: «I think it will be exciting, even if it will be necessary to be guided by the kids to reach the place where this initiative will be held , otherwise difficult to reach for those who don’t know the school.” Student representatives were also present at the presentation. Isola Scarpellini and Viola Barsotti take the floor: «It is an event that we appreciate very much, it coincides with our idea of school and allows us to freely express our passions and our creativity, experiencing school 100%. After all, it is also an opportunity for socializing. We will be very active as peer educators, a figure born thanks to the initiative of one of our teachers who is also a psychologist, who allows the students of the last classes to train those of the first ones, forming aware references who will have to support the others. In fact, on the evening of the 21st we will be recognizable with bibs, and we will guide visitors around the institute to follow the performances, a real staff. All the students appreciated the logo and the title of the initiative, for the references to the difficult moment, between environmental issues and wars, that the world is experiencing, but also as a period of transition in our lives, hence the parallelism between the end of the world and end of adolescence”.l
