Bisonte Firenze completes the spiker department by bringing back twenty-one year old Bianca Lapini, who had already had five years as a Bisontina player between the youth sector and the first team before trying out an experience in A2 with Mondovì last season.
A versatile player, who in recent years has played both the wing and libero roles with fruitful results, Lapini is also and above all a true Florentine, an example of attachment to the shirt and also of adherence to the values of Il Bisonte: next season she will wear the number 17 shirt and will join Anna Davyskiba, Emma Cagnin and Stella Nervini – another Florentine like her – in the four-seater department.
Bianca Lapini was born on 13 July 2002 in Arezzo, and took her first steps in volleyball in two Florentine clubs, Olimpia and San Michele. In 2016 she joined the prestigious youth sector of Volleyrò Casal de ‘Pazzi, where she remained for two years, also winning the national under 16 title in 2018, then she returned to Florence and settled at Volley Art Toscana, the nursery of The Bison. In 2020/21 he obtained promotion to B1 with Rinascita, the second team of Il Bisonte, but at the same time he earned his first call-ups for some A1 matches, then from 2021 he entered the first team on a permanent basis where he remained for two seasons, the the second of which he played as libero: in 2023 he decided to go down to A2 with Mondovì, again as a spiker, and now he returned home to his native Florence.

We are a very young group, but we certainly have a great desire to work to entertain the fans: I can’t wait to get started and get to know the new teammates.”.
