SITUATION. In Italy the weather is improving further although clouds will still be possible in the next few hours
most of the central-southern regions. Significant thickening may occur along the Apennine ridge during
the central hours of the day and during the afternoon, attenuated by the evening. A further improvement in atmospheric conditions is expected over the weekend in all regions due to the rise of a high pressure promontory that will expand towards our peninsula. Temperatures will gradually increase, especially in the maximum values. Starting from Monday, Atlantic currents will return to central-western Europe and, marginally, Italy, favoring a gradual intensification of afternoon instability along the Apennine ridge; high probability of thickening and thunderstorms in the afternoon, easing in the evening. During
next week, moreover, a general and significant increase in temperatures in the center-south seems likely.

during the day, especially close to the mountains, attenuating in the evening. Significant accumulations on the Marsican reliefs and on the Alto Sangro cannot be ruled out, occasionally associated with scattered showers in the afternoon, extending towards Lazio but in
improvement within the evening-night. Stable and mostly sunny weather over the weekend with maximum temperatures gradually increasing.
Temperatures slightly increasing, especially in the maximum values, particularly in the L’Aquila area and in the Peligna Valley.
Weak winds from the northern quadrants with residual reinforcements along the coastal strip.
Sea generally rough.
