CIVITANOVA MARCHE – He would not have given the customer 17,000 euros in compensation, Road accident consultant ends up on trial. This morning in the Court of Macerata the trial against a 52 year old from Civitanova before the single judge Roberto Evangelisti and the public prosecutor Stefano Lanari. The facts at the center of the proceedings date back in October 2020While the accident occurred on July 28, 2018. That day a man from Potenza Picena had an accident in Civitanova while he was riding a scooter. The man ended up in the emergency room with a thoracic trauma with the fracture of a rib and a multiple blunt force trauma.
To obtain compensation for the damages suffered (both physical and those relating to the damaged scooter) he turned to the road accident consultant in Civitanova who started an out-of-court negotiation with the insurance company. Based on what the man reported the insurance paid 19,100 euros of which 2,100 were professional expenses, but he would not have seen anything of that amount.
The man from Potenza reported that he had tried several times to contact the professional but without success so he turned to the lawyer Domenico Formica to obtain the due amount. But even at that point, the various attempts made to resolve the matter failed and the next step was the lawsuit.
Today the trial began against the consultant accused of misappropriation aggravated by having caused significant financial damage, by having committed the act with abuse of work performance and by specific recidivism. The defender, the lawyer Mauro Chiariotti, rejects the accusations. “There has been no appropriation, we will demonstrate during the trial that my client is not involved in the accusations made against her”, commented the lawyer on the sidelines of the hearing.
