On the afternoon of May 9th, at the headquarters of the Provincial Command of the Carabinieri of RavennaLieutenant Colonel Marco Prosperi and the Captain Simone Ricci they received congratulations on their recent promotion from the Provincial Commander Colonel Andrea Lachi and his collaborators. In the press note released by the Provincial Command of Ravenna we read: “The satisfaction of the two officers who see their long commitment within the ranks of the force recognized is legitimate. The commander of the Ravenna Company, Marco Prosperi, wore the rank of Lieutenant Colonel while the Commander of the Information Unit, Simone Ricci, that of Captain. A fair and deserved promotion for the two Officers.”
Lieutenant Colonel Prosperi, graduated in law and sports sciences, has been in command of the Carabinieri Company of Ravenna since 11 September 2023. Previously he carried out particular operational tasks at the CC Company of Padua, as Commander of the Operational Unit and Radiomobile, at the headquarters of the Operational Group Special of Padua, Rome and Reggio Calabria, as well as the Command of the Catturandi Section of the CC Investigative Unit of Milan. Until September 2023 he held the command of the Company of Sant’Agata di Militello.
Captain Ricci, who joined the Army in 1988 with the rank of Vice Brigadier, as a young non-commissioned officer, after his first experience at the Carabinieri Station of Villanova di Bagnacavallo, he held various operational positions at the Carabinieri Company of Cervia-Milano Marittima and subsequently headed the Command of Reda Carabinieri station, to then reach the Provincial of Ravenna where the Information Unit Command is located. The aforementioned, graduated in Administration Sciences, is awarded the honors of Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, as well as the Mauritian Medal of Merit for 10 decades of military career and the Golden Medal of Merit for long Command.
