CIVITAVECCHIA – “A strong and representative list, the driving force of the only centre-right project in the field”, defined it by the spokesperson of the FdI city club Paolo Iarlori. “A team that represents a united party that with passion, the strength of ideas and cohesion will lead to winning this challenge with a sense of team, militancy and belonging”, echoed the mayoral candidate Massimiliano Grasso. The objective of the Melonians is to confirm themselves as the leading party of the coalition: this was reiterated by the various members of the party who arrived in the city for the presentation of the list of 24 candidates for the position of municipal councilor.

«A perfect mix – explained the regional councilor Emanuela Mari – between administrative and political experience and new faces who believe in a great project, that of bringing Massimiliano Grasso to the Pincio, perhaps already in the first round”, “thus making Civitavecchia – added the deputy Mauro Rotelli – the most important port city in Italy”. «An important proposal – added the Honorable Member Paolo Trancassini – for the Region and for what Civitavecchia represents at a national level”. A challenge to be won, as reiterated by the senator Marco Silvestroni, «with an important list and an important, prepared and capable candidate: a good government that Civitavecchia deserves. This city and its port are fundamental for Italy.” For the national organization manager of FdI Giovanni Donzelli «this is the best response to the detractors and the best example between us and the Democratic Party which argues internally, it is the example – he explained – of common sense that Massimiliano will carry forward. If FdI is the first party, it will make the difference, coherently, proving to be the glue of the coalition, in a serious, responsible and coherent way.”
The candidate for mayor Fat he then thanked the party, at all levels. «For the first time FdI leads the coalition and will lead the city as a primary force – she underlined – we will complete the government chain, for the good of the territory. A great opportunity that we cannot miss.” The title chosen for the electoral campaign is “Development Objective”: «This will be our guide – concluded Grasso – so that the aspirations of the city and the port of Rome are transformed into concrete facts. We are a candidate to lead the city for the next 10 years by implementing interventions and works that Civitavecchia needs.”
