Illegal trade at the Royal Palace and Belvedere: seizures begin

Blitz against illegal trading at the Royal Palace of Caserta and San Leucio. The operation was conducted by officers of the local police command of Caserta, led by Colonel Antonio Piricelli. The strong control activity, aimed at repressing the phenomenon of illegal trade, aimed at targeting street vendors without a license present both in the spaces in front of the Royal Palace of Caserta and in the San Leucio area.

The White Helmets, who also acted in civilian clothes, carried out two seizures in Piazza Carlo di Borbone, one at the Belvedere di San Leucio and one in Via De Martino. Seized were 318 bracelets of various types and materials, 215 magnets with various representations, 31 lasers, 112 necklaces of various types and materials, 131 glasses of various types, 18 rubber balls.

Furthermore, 64 reports were issued for infringements of the Highway Code on the riding track. Local police checks will continue in the next few days to ensure compliance with legality throughout the municipal territory and in particular in the tourist areas which represent the city’s business card.
