an absence of 15 years: he will re-propose the successes of the great Lucio together with

Treviso, 9 May 2024 – An evening with the timeless songs of Lucio Battisti.
The countdown begins for the concert of Formula B – trio composed by Fabio
Miani, drummer Federico Delfini and guitarist Enrico “Flaco” Dabellani – will hold
on the evening of Saturday 11 May at the Sant’Anna theater in Treviso (9pm). A
an event that promises to be unmissable for fans of the great Lucio and which, not surprisingly,
is close to sold out: few tickets are still available.
Fabio Miani – bass and keyboard player from Treviso (born and raised in Villorba), now resident
in Milan – has long been ideally close to one of the greatest legends of pop music
Italian. In Poggio Bustone, Lucio Battisti’s birthplace, he is particularly appreciated
and followed. He played live with Massimo Luca, historic guitarist of the great Lucio
also present in the legendary Battisti-Mina television duet of 1972. And his
Formula B openly refers to the legendary Formula 3 of the great Alberto Radius, the only one
band who had the privilege of accompanying Battisti on his only two live tours, between
1969 and 1970.
After the experience with the Kimaira Power Trio, his main band (finalists in Sanremo
Rock in 2019), still active, Miani founded Formula B following the notable
public appreciation than his interpretations of Lucio Battisti’s songs
they punctually collect in theaters and clubs throughout Italy. For Miani, who in the meantime has
having also gained experience as a cartoonist, graphic designer and illustrator, he will be returning to a
Treviso stage 15 years after the last time.
Formula B are not a simple tribute band, but, referring to Formula 3,
offer a completely original proposal that draws heavily from the musical world of
Lucio Battisti, with arrangements performed in a power trio, in line with the great formations
of the progressive rock of the 70s.
Formula B perform everything completely live without the aid of pre-recorded backing tracks,
relying on the use of different musical instruments and the harmonic intertwining of the originals
arrangements.
