The municipal administration, in the setting of the Ridotto del Teatro Masini, convened the working table of the accommodation facilities of Faenza to start a phase of sharing on tourism strategies to refine the promotion of the territory. A strategically important meeting where the companies in this sector represent the ‘front line’ of encounters with tourist flows and due to their knowledge of visitor requests they effectively take on the role of the first business card of a place dedicated to tourism.
During the discussion, the events that the Municipality of Faenza will host in the coming weeks were presented, from the historic passage of a stage of the Tour de France to the events related to ceramics, Buongiorno Ceramica and Argillà Italia. Among the first innovations presented also the one linked to the creation of the digital tourist portal of the Union of the municipalities of Romagna Faentina, which will be created within the year and will be presented as a usable tool both by those who intend to visit our territory and by those who work in the tourist accommodation sector, containing useful news, itinerary proposals, experiential proposals and information about our territory. In the first meeting of this Roundtable, whose discussion meetings will continue in the future, many interesting ideas emerged also from entrepreneurs which the administration will take into due account in the development of future strategies and actions.
Present at the event were administrators, manager Benedetta Diamanti and officials of the Tourism Service, representatives of the Pro Loco of Faenza, of ‘If Imola-Faenza’ and of the trade associations of all sectors.
