The 3D mammography with tomosynthesis, reducing superposition artifacts, allows a more accurate analysis of the breast structure with a radiation dose well within the standard limits recognized as acceptable. Tomosynthesis also allows the identification of pathologies by reducing invasive instrumental tests. In the Pordenone Medical Center Radiology, the gold standard protocol is carried out, which includes mammography and breast ultrasound in a single session, with a visit by the specialist (instrumental clinical examination of the breasts).

Pordenone Medicine Center has recently centralized the main outpatient services for women at the headquarters in via Oberdan.
Here there is a gynecology and obstetrics service, with 15 specialists, who can use Voluson E10 ultrasound machines, fundamental in the early diagnosis of gynecological tumors and for prenatal diagnosis. The service dedicated to the rehabilitation of the pelvic floor and functional gymnastics is active, managed by a team of midwives, Genny Porcellato and Federica Zatti.
The Medically Assisted Procreation Service is also active with the presence of Dr. Francesco Tomei, and the Diagnostic Senology Service. Overall, the combination of via della Ferriera-via Oberdan offices has the main 40 branches, with over 120 specialists.
The laboratory analysis service in via della Ferriera is very active, with extended hours 5 days a week, from Monday to Friday, from 7.00 – 9.30.
Pordenone Medical Center is organized into two operational units: the headquarters in via Oberdan (formerly Naonis, health director Francesco Coran), where in addition to the clinic there is the diagnostic breast cancer service, and that in via della Ferriera (health director Teresa Lacchin), where in addition to the clinic there is also the withdrawals.
The potential of this combination of offices, located 500 meters away from each other, is 124 specialists in 40 branches, with growth achieved with 20 new specialists entered into service since the beginning of the year.
