A new reality is about to be born in Puglia that researches, selects and brings together new faces to start in the world of fashion. It’s called “Poz Models” and on Saturday, May 11th, from 4pm to 8pm, it is organizing a free open day casting in Trani open to all aspiring models at the Zeronoise Studio headquarters, in via Sandro Pertini 76.
The idea comes from Niki Di Corrado, a 40-year-old photographer from Trani who, after over twenty years of experience in the image and communication sector, decided to create a container of photo models, male and female models, actors and actresses, in the world of fashion, advertising and cinema. “At a time when artificial intelligence wants to replace us, I strongly believe that the imperfection of ‘humans’ is an element to be valorised” explains Di Corrado. “This pushed me to create an agency that can help and accompany all those who gravitate around this sector on their journey. The sector is constantly growing, I want to facilitate the meeting between supply and demand”.
Always in love with photography, Niki Di Corrado began his professional journey in 2001 by founding NEOGS, an agency dedicated to web, advertising and commercial photography. For years he has carried forward his motto “In light we trust” (We believe in light), convinced that lighting techniques and the way to exploit them are the key to the creation of successful photography, until the foundation of Zeronoise Studio , photographic production studio for large-scale e-commerce, editorials and advertising campaigns.
Drawing on the experience of talent scouts and agency bookers, the photographer decided to give life to Poz Models in order to recognize the talent of local photo models, help them realize their dreams and guide them by acting as an intermediary with fashion agencies and film productions. “The ones who will be able to participate in the selections – continues Di Corrado – will not only be professional models but also those who in everyday life deal with something else and are far from the historical and sedimented canons of traditional fashion. The choice will fall on those who have interesting characteristics to photograph.”
