A group of doctors, nurses and technicians from the Czech Republic were hosted yesterday and today by the complex regional Maxiemergency 118 structure directed by Mario Raviolo. Objective: to start a discussion and learn how to obtain certification from the World Health Organization.

The team visiting the Facility’s Field Hospital operates in Brno in a hospital with 5 thousand employees and 1200 beds.

The Maxiemergency 118 of the Piedmont Region obtained the certification in 2018 which attests to compliance with the standards required for the EMT2 (level 2 Emergency Medical Teams), a structure capable of operating throughout the world during disasters with a medical team surgical of the highest professional level. This afternoon guests will be in Genola, at the facility’s warehouse, to view the cutting-edge material and equipment available to Maxiemergency.

We are a family here – Dr. Raviolo wanted to underline, welcoming his Czech colleagues – we are all at the same level, with different roles. And this is what makes the difference and allows us to work well as a team and achieve results”.

The general director of ASL CN1 Giuseppe Guerra and the administrative director Tiziana Rossini were there to welcome the visitors.
