A party dedicated to art, fashion, design and creativity. The one to which the students of LABA Free Academy of Fine Arts of Rimini have drawn on to carry out projects, works, works which, Saturday 11 May 2024 from 5pmwill be exhibited in Piazza Zara de Le Befane Shopping Center in Rimini on the occasion offinal happening which closes Originartethe exhibition of 54 works by Keith Haringwhich since its inauguration last April 13th has been accompanied every weekend by initiatives, workshops and events for adults and children.

The students of LABA – a national reality that boasts 450 members from all over Italy – precisely in view of the exhibition dedicated to the American artist they participated in a creative call/contest to make the most of the own talent and what was learned in the courses design, fashion design, photography, graphicscreating projects, works and works in their fields of study’inspired by Keith Haring. Backstage videos and photo shoots will also document, on Saturday 11 May, the great ‘creative workshop’ set in motion by the Academy for this event with the coordination of Ama – Roberta Pontrandolfo.

Part of the fruit of this activity – tells Caterina GentileLABA teacher and coordinator of the Fashion Design course – it has already been visible during the exhibition, with the graphics created by the students and projected on the giant screens in the squares of the Befane Shopping Centre. All areas of the Academy were involved and it was exciting to see our students engaged in such an engaging project. Many projects and works that will be exhibited: dresses, stoles, graphics. With the Fashion Design Area 3 we also created the dress for the final event that Roberta Pontrandolfo will wear“.

Our students – points out Pier Luigi Capucci, LABA Cultural Directorthey were inspired both by the works of Keith Haring and by the values ​​and themes they imply: for example the ethical ones linked to consumerism, or the social ones linked to addictions. We are happy that this event gives us the opportunity to leave the ‘boundaries’ of the Academy, and for our students to be recognized, immersing themselves in a different context, with great impact on the public“.
