Saturday at 5pm, in Palatine Chapelthe concert season of the della Royal Palace of Caserta. There pianist Maria Gabriella Mariani opens the calendar of the events of Announcement of participatory valorisation of the Museum. The event is promoted byMozart Association Italy of Naples. Mariani, a multi-talented pianist, considered among the most interesting musical personalities of her generation, will perform in an unmissable recital marked by great piano virtuosity but also by the poetic element.
The artist will perform three famous masterpieces of Liszt: the Mephisto Walzer n.1, the Sonata and “Margherita all’Arcolaio”, an evocative piece inspired by the myth of “Faust”. As is now the tradition of his concerts, there will be a composition by him, the “Waltz of Nené”, premiering in Caserta, a taste of his latest recording effort entitled “Il Mito e la Memoria”. The waltz is dedicated to Antonietta Colantuonoa young musician and his ancestor, who died a century ago at just 12 years old, shortly before moving to Rome where she was admitted to the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia.
Participation in the initiative is included in the ordinary cost of the ticket/subscription Palace of Caserta. The “Evening Apartments” ticket, which includes the visit to the Royal Apartments and the Grand Gallery from 5pm, costs 5 euros.
