Also for the 2024-2025 school year the City of Asti ensures the school transport service with school buses and the special collective school transport service for disabled students.
The school transport service with school bus it is designed for students attending primary and nursery schools, primarily resident in Asti, who attend schools whose catchment area extends into rural and/or extra-urban areas or schools where situations of particular hardship and road danger are identified. The lines are activated taking into account the number of primary school students and the service can be extended to nursery school students.
The special collective school transport servicehowever, is aimed at certified physical, mental and/or sensorial disabled students, attending state and private schools in the City of Asti and unable to use public transport independently.
Online applications for registrations for “school transport by school bus” and for “special collective school transport for disabled students” for the 2024-2025 school year can be made from 13 May to 28 June 2024, using the procedure on the page. portal of the Municipality of Asti (Municipality of Asti – Online services – Access online services – Citizens – Online applications – Opening of applications – School services – Start application) or the link

The application form must be completed online with a computer, tablet or mobile phone, using the access method via the SPID (Public Digital Identity System), CIE (Electronic Identity Card) or CNS (National Services). The compilation of transport requests is supported by an operational guide; it is possible to receive assistance in completing the application by contacting one of the CAAFs affiliated with the Municipality of Asti.
Applications received by 28 June 2024 will contribute to the formation of school bus lines with routes, stops and passage times. Applications received after the deadline and during the 2024-2025 school year may be gradually accepted in the presence of residual availability of seats on school buses, provided that they do not lead to changes in the routes approved on the basis of requests received within the agreed period (28.06.2024) .
