Visit of the director of Legislative Affairs of the European Committee of the Regions in Brussels, Thomas Wobben, yesterday to Abruzzo: welcomed by the councilor for Productive Activities and Labor Tiziana Magnacca and by the managers of the regional Department for Productive Activities, he was accompanied to the Honda and Stellantis factories in Atessa, two of the sites that make up the production fabric in the automotive supply chain.

“The meeting with Wobben made it possible to focus and place Abruzzo at the center of Europe, as per President Marsilio’s agenda, for a new alliance between the automotive regions of the old continent. A great topic that we will address starting tomorrow during the two days that will be hosted at the Automotive Innovation Forum in Chieti Scalo” comments councilor Magnacca.

The works, scheduled today and tomorrow in the Foro Boario exhibition pavilion of the Chieti Chamber of Commerce, will be attended by the Minister of Made in Italy Enterprises Adolfo D’Urso and the President of the Region Marco Marsilio.

“The importance of facing the great challenge of the environmental and technological transition is a great opportunity to compare ourselves with the supply chain of Abruzzo’s automotive sector, looking carefully at the decisions that the European Union has taken and will take” adds Magnacca.

“It will be a moment of discussion with the protagonists of Italian and European institutional life with Minister Urso and Wobben of the European Committee of the Regions. Understanding the needs, being aware of the opportunities, working to seize them with solutions that take into account the characteristics of Abruzzo’s automotive companies to compete in a continuously innovating market”.
