Giacomo Ferrara, a well-known face on the small and big screen, already a successful actor in the TV series Suburra, will present at the Teatro Piccolo in Forlì, Sunday 12 May at 9pm, the new show DIARY OF A MADMAN, directed by Alessandro Prete. The show, produced by Stefano Francioni Produzioni, is freely inspired by the story of the same name by Nikolaj Vasìlevic Gogol and subsequently adapted by Mario Moretti.

The protagonist of the story is Aksentij Ivanovic Propiscin, a boy who confuses the images of his mind with the reality that surrounds him: whoever he wants to be, he will become and wherever he wants to be, he will find himself.

Aksentij will take us through his diary on a journey into the mind of a man, his fears, his deepest desires; a journey inside his own soul, in which he will deliberately try not to let in the distortions and perversions of an overly egocentric and corrupt humanity, where the supremacy of one man undermines the freedom of another. A touching ending will bring the viewer back to harsh normality.
