I’ll explain why. The gate that we will open to enter the future of Avellino.”
In short, the race can officially start after uncertain and extremely hot days in terms of political debate. The Rai journalist should be supported by five lists: the first coordinated by the regional councilor of the Moderates and Reformists, Livio Petitto, which could host some elements of the League; the second by the mayor of Montefalcione, Angelo Antonio D’Agostino, within which there will also be space for references to Forza Italia; the third sponsored by Primavera Meridionale, the fourth sponsored by Massimo Passaro’s «Cittadini in Movimento» association and the last organized directly by the candidate for mayor which will involve representatives of the world of associations, civil society, but also some political references.
The news of the race of Genoese it arrived just as the city was discussing a possible last minute agreement with the centre-right elements left out of the coalition, Fratelli d’Italia and Unione di Centro, thus shelving the matter once and for all. Furthermore, the possible negotiation with representatives of the outgoing municipal administration has been definitively closed given that the former deputy mayor Laura Nargi has already made his entry into the field official.
The next few hours will be used to smooth out the last corners and define the lists. For the moment Genoese he prefers not to launch into declarations, postponing any clarification to a presentation press conference which should take place next week. Yesterday, meanwhile, the mayoral candidate received the support of Noi Moderati. The party which at the national level is headed by Maurizio Lupi, in fact, has decided to nominate the national secretary of the Security and Defense federation on its list, Gennaro Sannino. This was announced by the city coordinator Giovanni Centrella in agreement with the regional coordinator Pino Bicchielli.
«The city of Avellino – says Centrella – deserves a change of pace compared to the Festa administration. We need to give new impetus to our community and guarantee citizens the security that has been missing today.” In the same vein Glasses who adds: «We Moderates in Campania are present, operational and active. Avellino is among the cities that deserves a boost today, after the events that have occurred. We are called to a great responsibility: to bring a city that is suffering today to its ancient splendors.”
