The Pro Loco of Altamura, following the elections for the renewal of the statutory bodies which took place on 21 April 2024, which saw the participation of 100 members out of 122 voters, gathered the new board of directors on 6 May 2024 to entrust the institutional tasks . The Board of Directors voted unanimously to reconfirm Dr. as President. Pietro Colonna and Cinzia Clemente as Vice President.
The President subsequently entrusted new tasks to the elected members, namely:
- Tota Michele – Secretary;
- Debernardis Angelo- Treasurer;
- Loiudice Marta – relationships with other associations;
- Castoro Angela – women’s group organization;
- Capurso Vincenzo – relationships with youth organizations.
The President expressed satisfaction with the participation of members in the democratic life of the association and also with the presence of women on the new board of directors. The Pro Loco of Altamura will continue, as in all these years, to play its active role on a cultural and tourist level with the aim of increasing citizens’ participation in the many events that are planned throughout the year and co-participating in make our city increasingly attractive and visitable by tourists who, in recent years, have significantly increased.
As part of its activities, tomorrow (11 May), at 6.30 pm, the presentation of the book “Cursing my father” (Graus editions) with the author Paolo Tittozzi is scheduled.
