We can finally say it! We are honored to be part of the ‘Arena of Peace’ event with Pope Francis which will be held at the Verona Arena on 18 May”: this was announced yesterday (8 May) by the Albenganese singer Miriam Masala on her Facebook profile.
In fact, on Saturday 18 May 2024, Pope Francis will be in Verona and will take part in the 2024 Peace Arena, where he will meet and dialogue with various realities of civil society, associations and popular movements present in Italy. The event will be broadcast live on Rai 1.
The singer will sing together with her artistic partner Foresta. “We will perform with a mashup created specifically for this day. We are very happy.”
Miriam, originally from Albenga, is known to the general public for her participation in Amici di Maria De Filippi in 2013. Participation in the program was the driving force that pushed her to believe in her artistic potential. Giuseppe Foresta, aka Foresta, is a producer and songwriter who has worked in various countries around the world. Since their meeting in 2017, the two artists have become inseparable.
Last May 3rd, Masala and Foresta performed on the stage of the Teatro Ambra in Albenga, as part of the 16th edition of the Su la testa Festival.
