In a historical moment in which violence, according to the sad daily news, seems to be the favorite activity of adolescents and young people, also stimulated by social media, the Pina Gigliotti Foundation launches an invitation to young people in our city with the competition “Let’s meet in the beauty of diversity”.

The kids thus demonstrate that they are bearers of many positive values that they want to give visibility to.
The students, together with the tutors and teachers, will identify “special friends” to do a short interview aimed at promoting their knowledge and enhancing their “diversity”. At the end of the interview the very young people will sign a friendship pact with the commitment to “take care” of each other by giving themselves moments of joy and mutual support. An original and effective way to help young people overcome episodes of discrimination and bullying towards the weaker and less gifted by educating them, on the contrary, to help and altruism. The object of the competition will be the testimonies of this short but intense period of friendship.
The final event, with the awarding of prizes, which will be entitled “My talent in social” will be held on the day May, 20th9am-12pm, at the Maurizio Rossi Youth Community Center in via Fontana Vecchia.
