WEDGE NEWS – Confindustria Cuneo presents the “I invest in culture” competition, designed to highlight corporate projects that have stood out in the cultural field. The initiative was launched by the Culture and Events Section – chaired by Beppe Incarbona – which, in addition to having among its objectives the support and growth of its members, is committed to broader issues to encourage and disseminate good practices in the field cultural also within entrepreneurial realities, aware of the considerable effects that these can have for company employees, the community in the broad sense and the local economy.

In its first edition, the “Io investo in cultura” award will have as its object the corporate cultural projects concluded during 2023. The projects must fall into one of the following reference categories: “Culture for business” (projects falling within the cultural sphere created and financed by companies); “Together for culture” (cultural projects carried out thanks to collaborations and/or sponsorships between companies and cultural bodies) and “Tenders and Art Bonus” (cultural projects carried out by companies thanks to Art Bonus or through the use of tenders). Numerous prizes are up for grabs, including the one involving the Holden School, assigned based on the evaluations of an excellent jury.

In Dogliani, at 6.00 pm on Friday 24 May, in the panoramic Piazza Belvedere, the award will rise to the forefront of the TV Festival. The initiative will be presented during the meeting “Culture between public and private investment” which will see the journalist Francesco Marino , editor-in-chief of the Piedmont Region Tg, Alessandro Giuli, president of the Maxxi Foundation, Evelina Christillin, president of the Egyptian Museum of Turin, and Giuliana Cirio, general director of Confindustria Cuneo who states: «In our province and more generally in our country, there are more and more there are numerous virtuous examples of private investments in the world of culture, often thanks to enlightened entrepreneurs who have charted the course. The primary objective of the “I invest in culture” award is to enhance these examples to stimulate further initiatives with certain repercussions on the well-being of citizens and the territory, combining the productive aspect with the cultural one. An opportunity for collective enrichment.”

In order to participate you must fill out the form and send the project materials using the appropriate form Web page on the Confindustria Cuneo website. On the same page you can find the competition rules. The deadline for submitting the project forms and materials is set at 12.00 on 12 July 2024. Participation in the competition is free of charge and it is possible to nominate projects regardless of the existence of an associative relationship with Confindustria Cuneo.
