‘Neorealist cinema in Ferrara’ with Stefano Muroni

As part of ‘Thursdays with the photoclub’, a meeting on the theme ‘Neorealist cinema in Ferrara’ with Stefano Muroni as protagonist will be held this evening at 9pm in the Music Hall, via Boccaleone 19, Ferrara. “In the month of May – explain the organizers – we will return to talking about the Neorealist cinema of Ferrara, to obtain from experts in the sector some leads to follow for a photographic project from which to draw the exhibition, audiovisual and catalogue. After Paolo Micalizzi this time it will be Stefano Muroni to guide us into the fascinating cinematic world of Ferrara Neorealism, with the great knowledge and passion that characterizes it”. Graduated in acting at the Experimental Cinematography Center directed by Giancarlo Giannini, Sefano Muroni debuts with his first film: the Italian-American production ‘Love among the ruins’, by Massimo Alì Mohammad. For the short film Tommaso the following year he won the award for best actor at the Napoli Cultural Classic in 2015. He wrote and starred in the film about the Emilia earthquake ‘The night is no longer scary’ (2016) by Marco Cassini. In 2017 he founded, together with the writer Valeria Luzi, ‘Controluce Production’, a film production company. The following year he wrote and produced with Cassini and Luzi the film ‘Oltre la bufera’ about Don Giovanni Minzoni, where he is the protagonist. In 2013 he founded the Actor Preformation Center in Ferrara and the following year he launched the Tenda Summer School campus and is the founder and president of the Florestano Vancini School of Cinematographic Arts.
