Milan, Inter, Juventus and Roma present a letter of no confidence in Lorenzo Casini, president of the Lega Serie A

Milan, Inter, Juventus and Roma have expressed their distrust towards Lorenzo Casinipresident of the League A league. The number one in Italian football will meet the Minister of Sport in the next few hours Andrea Abodi. One of the topics that will be touched upon will be the introduction of a government supervisory agency for the accounts of professional sports clubs. The clubs mentioned above, the only ones in favor of the reduction to 18 teams of the top national championship, through a letter, affirmed their position. Here is the note reported by Sportface.

The clubs letter

“Dear President, following yesterday’s informal meeting, we would like to represent the following to you. During the meeting, reference was made on several occasions to positions represented by you in institutional bodies based on the document approved by the LNPA Assembly on 14 February. Our societies did not approve that document, nor its contents. We therefore ask you, starting from tomorrow’s meeting with the Minister of Sport as well as in any other institutional context in which you will represent the positions of the Lega Nazionale Professionisti Serie A based on that document, to clarify in advance that these are positions that are not shared approved by our Clubs”.
