There are six lists that will support one of the two centre-left candidates for the Bari municipal elections, Michele Laforgia. The lists are: Bari Bene Comune, Bari Città d’Europa, Generazione Urbana, Laforgia Mayor, 5 Star Movement and Italian Communist Party. “Lists – we read in a note – selected with extreme care, whose members have been chosen among the many citizens who in recent years and in recent months have decided to embrace a project: that of a better, fairer, greener Bari , with more rights. Lists that bring together the parties, movements and associations that recognize themselves in the project and program for the city of Bari of Michele Laforgia, candidate for mayor”.
The ‘Laforgia Sindaco’ list brings together the world of professions, of civil society, of “all those citizens who have chosen to make themselves available to politics to bring their skills and professionalism”. Among the candidates are Roberto Voza, labor law expert from the University of Bari, Alfredo Marchese, internationally renowned cardiologist, Angela Santoro, gynecologist, involved in social work, Angelo Ceglie, cultural operator, creator and artistic director of various exhibitions and film festivals.
‘Bari Bene Comune’ “welcomes” the councilor for welfare Francesca Bottalico and two independent candidates of the Communist Refoundation, Sabino De Razza and Laura Marchetti. The M5S list includes the outgoing city councilors Antonello Delle Fontane and Italo Carelli; on the list of the “Italian Communist Party” there are Francesco Violante, professor at the University of Bari, Donata Albergo, pensioner and historical party militant, Nicola Ratano, actor, Emanuela Nasca, worker, Loredana Savino, singer-musician and Franco De Mario , regional secretary of the PCI.
