The Lecce by Luca Gotti, after two days of rest, resumed training this afternoon to prepare for the match against Udinese, an important direct clash for both teams.

The training report

Below is the official note from the Salento club at the end of today’s session:

The team, after the two days of rest granted by Mister Gotti, met this afternoon at the Acaya Golf Resort & SPA to resume preparation in view of Monday’s postponement against Udinese, a match in which Piccoli will be absent stopped for one round by the Sports Judge. Gendrey and Sansone followed a personalized work program, the latter due to a muscle problem. The Giallorossi’s work will continue tomorrow with a training session in the afternoon at Via del Mare.

The situation at Udinese

At Udinese everyone is thinking about the Via Del Mare challenge, an inside or outside match for the Friulians.

Enzo Ebosse, Juventus defender, made some statements to the microphones of TV 12 on the sidelines of the dinner organized with the clubs of Lower Friuli.

I’m very happy to be here, I’m happy to see all these fans by our side especially in this difficult moment. It shows us that we are together to stay in Serie A, which is the common goal. The dressing room is fine, before matches in the past it was difficult because we felt the obligation of having to win. The point against Napoli is important because we conceded many goals in the last minutes, but this time we did it. Cannavaro gives us confidence, keeps us focused on football to do the best we can. My return? We have to wait a little longer, we’ll see with the coach and the medical staff how I feel this week. Generally you take a little more time after spending a few months out, but if I were to feel good and we were in difficulty during the match I would go and tell the coach to let me play for half an hour.
