There State Police of Caserta arrested a 52-year-old man, originally from Aversa, for drug dealing. The movements of the car used by the man in the municipalities of Agro Aversano made the policemen suspicious. CAversa Public Security Officewho observed the “home” delivery of drugs.
During the man’s arrest, several doses of hashish were found hidden in a compartment between the seats of the vehicle, together with a large sum of small denomination banknotes, proceeds of drug dealing. An initial search at the home declared by the man gave negative results. Subsequent investigations made it possible to discover 28 blocks of hashish, for a total weight of over 3 kilos, hidden in an attic of the house where the man actually lives. Together with the drugs, an electronic scale and equipment useful for packaging doses were found.
After the ritual formalities, the man was transferred to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison.
