The municipal administration of Reggio Calabria announces that it has learned of the ban on contracting with the public administration issued against the company “Ecologia Oggi spa”, the company entrusted with the waste collection service for the municipality of Reggio Calabria.
The municipal offices of the competent sectors are currently working to arrive, in the shortest possible time, at a solution which, in compliance with current legislation, guarantees the regular continuation of the service which, it should be noted, has not suffered any interruption. In fact, urban waste management is an essential public service and, as such, cannot be interrupted.
The municipal administration of Reggio Calabria will constantly and promptly inform citizens of any further developments in the matter that may concern the community.
