The City Council meeting on Tuesday 7 May, coordinated by the vice president Eleonora Milazzo, has seen the approval of seven resolutions relating to off-balance sheet debts and that of an injunction. All for just over 2000 euros. At the beginning of the session, the president pro tempore gave space for communications.
The councilor spoke Elijah Martinique which reiterated, once again, the state of the road leading to the Sanctuary of the Holy Father of Perriere, which is very popular for pilgrimages of the faithful in this period. She asked that in addition to weeding, a thorough cleaning action also be carried out. Pino Ferrantelli he pointed out that a political verification is needed and that everything possible must be done to avoid difficulties for the inhabitants of the southern side of the city who, at present, are unable to connect to the sewerage system. Following, theCouncilor Salvatore Agate informed the Council that the restyling of the Santo Padre area will start next Friday according to a timetable of interventions established by the Administration with Formula Ambiente.
The last resolution dealt with by the City Council in yesterday afternoon’s session was the one concerning the underpass of the railway station on which the councilor Flavio Coppola has proposed a specific ruling also on the basis of a specific petition from the inhabitants of the Via Cairoli area. After a broad debate in which the councilors intervened Rino PassalacquaFlavio Coppola, Antonio Vinci who complained that the specific commission on the subject was only provided with a non-explanatory “note” of the railway project, Leo Orlando, Piero Cavasino as well as theCouncilor Giacomo Tumbarello.
The vote on the resolution has been postponed to next Tuesday, May 14, at the opening of the session.
