On May 10th at 9pm (at 10am as a matinee for schools) there is a theatrical event at the Spazio Matta in Pescara with “A slightly crooked and exuberant gait – Emergence n.1” Of Antonio Tagliarini dancer, author, actor, director and choreographer, author and performer of various shows and performances which he presents in many Italian and international festivals.

This first emergence is a ruthless self-investigation, in which Tagliarini denounces himself, lays himself bare, realizes that he is still inhabited by the toxic dynamics of a normative culture that he would like to reject, and here expresses his desire – his striving towards something else. A self-portrait constructed through one’s own and others’ biography, between reality and fiction, where identity is not a crystallized, monolithic object, but rather a mobile, plural process, composed of parts, scraps and grafts. A rewriting of the self which, through the device of auto-fiction, puts the question of self-representation under investigation, investigates its political and aesthetic limits, overflows from every pre-packaged category, and allows the outside to invade the inside, identifying porosity and relationality are the only strategies for rethinking the world.

Saturday May 11th at 9pm (with matinee on Friday 10 May at 10 am for schools) the national premiere of Koudour Of Hatice Özer at the Marrucino Theater, Chieti: with the historic Marrucino opera theater in Chieti he continues with the intention of working on new performance trends that combine the languages of theater with those of contemporary music. Thanks to the collaboration with Alvise Sinivia, associated artist of the Festival, every year a show suitable for bringing young generations closer to contemporary music is selected.
