these gyms ready to welcome students! The interventions carried out

There Province of Matera has achieved another important objective.

I’m just the functional adaptation works of gyms A and B serving the Pentasuglia industrial technical institute in Matera have been completed.

In detail, the works, financed under the European Structural Funds PON 2014-20 for a total amount of 350 thousand eurosinvolved:

• the renovation of the flooring and steps of gym B,

• the replacement of part of the fixtures,

• the reconstruction of part of the waterproofing and covering of the body of both gyms,

• other works complementary to the functionality of both systems made available to the school and the students who attend it.

Thus the president Piero Marrese:

“I am particularly proud of this latest successful result because the sports facilities attached to schools have a clear importance in the education of our children.

I applaud the company that carried out the intervention, while I extend thanks to the technical office of the Province of Matera, to the vice president, Emanuele Pilato, as well as to the provincial councilor of the territory, Carmine Alba.

We work constantly with a view to overall growth to train the new generations.”
