Even though he has lived in Liguria for years and has built most of his relationships there, Miriam Colombo was born in Busto Arsizio and the other evening she also sang them at General Vannaccicandidate in the European elections for the League, with a monologue on inclusiveness that is missing at all levels.

The monologue of the young woman, a cystic fibrosis patient and medical student at the University of Genoa, was broadcast in the last episode of the Mediaset program Hyenas: «Have you ever wondered what it means to not feel in control of your body? What does it feel like to look in the mirror and not recognize yourself?” – said the 21-year-old, appointed Knight of the Republic by President Mattarella last year.

«At the university I was denied the possibility of following lessons remotely or having more time to take an exam, as per the regulations, telling me that I already had 104 and they would not grant me any other privileges. Someone recently said that we should have separate classes for disabled people, so there’s no need for this to make us feel inadequate because we are already a burden and we are already excluded.”
