The social dinner of the renovated Genoa Club “Golfo dei Poeti”, which is based in Lerici, took place yesterday evening, by booking a local restaurant, an opportunity to meet and talk about the Grifone after a calm and satisfying championship.
In the presence of a few dozen members and the historic “rossoblu” captain, the great Marco Rossi, who brought greetings from the Club, the evening flew by talking about the present and future of Genoa, also present were representatives of the historic Genoa Clubs of ” Monterosso-Vernazza” and “Riomaggiore”. The Genoa club “Golfo dei Poeti”, established several years ago, re-joined the Genoa Club Association at the beginning of the season, at the request of its historic member Riccardo Musetti, after a period of less social commitment, while continuing to maintain contact among local supporters directly and with a participatory social page.
The “Grifone” has always had, historically, an important following of passionate fans in the far eastern Liguria, in particular in Lerici and San Terenzo, but also in Spezia, in the Gulf in general and in Val di Magra, with constant presences both at Ferraris that away. The Club now has a few dozen members, which it expects to increase to reach a significant number reflecting the reality of the Genoa area.
The Club does not want to be “against” or in opposition to anyone, precisely in light of the historical, social and sporting value that Genoa has in Liguria, in fact, in addition to the participation of its members in the matches, it also intends to engage with promotional projects and social sphere.
