Moncalieri. Thefts in the company in Collegno. The second accomplice arrested

FATHER & SON STEAL POWER TOOLS FROM COMPANIES. THE SECOND ACCOMPLICE ARRESTED: TWO WEEKS AGO THE SON WAS ARRESTED WHILE HE HAD FLED

The Carabinieri of the Operations Section of the Company of Moncalieri with a rapid investigation they identified and arrested the second alleged perpetrator of the Collegno theft which occurred on April 24th. He is a sixty-two-year-old of the Sinti ethnic group, already known to the police as well as the father of the accomplice already arrested for committing a crime. The man, together with his accomplice, is seriously suspected of the crimes of “aggravated theft in competition”, “receiving stolen goods” and “material falsehood committed by a private individual”: the two, probably after having committed a theft in the municipality of Collegno, had driven away in a Lancia DELTA with false license plates but had been caught by a patrol of the Carabinieri Company of Moncalieri (TO) and chased, until the arrest of one of the two and the escape of the interested party. The Moncalieri military forces, coordinated by the Turin Public Prosecutor’s Office, completed the investigations to identify the man and arrested him in violation of a precautionary custody order in prison. The interested party was detained at the “Lorusso e Cutugno” prison in Turin.
