Wednesday 15 May, at 9pm, in Cuneo at the Toselli Theater (via Toselli, 9), Fondazione CRC proposes the theatrical show “Polimero. A plastic puppet.” The initiative is organized as part of the Cuneo Montagna Festival, to raise awareness and increase awareness of good environmental practices and is an activity connected to Spazzamondo, the collective campaign for the collection of abandoned waste which will be held on Saturday 25 May in over 160 Municipalities of the province of Cuneo. “Polymer. A Plastic Puppet” with Paolo Hendel, Danilo Rossi, Stefano Nanni and the Bruno Maderna orchestra, is an ecological fable that revisits the story of Pinocchio in a contemporary key. A lot of plastic ends up inside the whale’s belly, Mangiafuoco is a large incinerator, while the plastic puppet Polimero asks the fairy to become biodegradable. Free entry, booking recommended on www.fondazionecrc.it.

The show

“Polymer. A Plastic Puppet” is the result of a collaboration between Giobbe Covatta, Danilo Rossi and the Maderna Orchestra. The idea of a fairy tale that told the problem of plastic and pollution of the planet was born between a glass of Sangiovese and a piadina from Romagna, combining the irreverent irony of Giobbe Covatta, here brought to the stage with creativity by Paolo Hendel, with the genius composition by Maestro Stefano Nanni, through the unique sound of Danilo Rossi’s viola. The proposed event is a theatrical show that aims to actively involve the Cuneo community, promoting participation and reflection on issues relating to environmental sustainability. By collaborating with proven national artists, we create a unique cultural experience that attracts a diverse audience and stimulates discussion on issues important to the entire community.
