One more episode of gender violencewhich ended without serious consequences only thanks to the courage of the potential victim: a 60-year-old threatened his ex-wife who however goes to the police in Torre del Greco to report it and has him arrested.
Gender violence, wife reports and has ex arrested
It happens in Torre del Greco: a 60-year-old man is subjected to no approach to the spouse. But despite the measure imposed by the Torre Annunziata court, he does not give up and continues to harass his wife from whom he had now separated.
Specifically, the man would first contacted his ex and then threatened her with death. But the victim did not allow herself to be intimidated by her ex-husband’s threats and promptly made the courageous choice to go to the police of the Torre del Greco station to report everything. In the barracks, she recounted the events and the threats received shortly before, alerting the military who promptly mobilized.
The man was armed, a near tragedy
The man, in the meantime, had decided to follow up on his threats: so he would get on his scooter and, armed with a knifehe would head towards home where he hoped to find his wife to carry out who knows what reckless gesture.
But the woman was already in the barracks, safe: shortly thereafter the soldiers from the force they have arrived instead blocked and disarmed the man and they took him to the security room where he is still awaiting trial. The man will have to answer for violating the approach ban.
A similar violence a few days ago
An event that appears to be a carbon copy of what happened just two days ago in Varese, where a man disfigured his ex-partner and killed his father-in-law, apparently due to a dispute regarding custody of his son: even in that case, the aggressor was subjected to a no-approach measure. Fortunately, the episode that took place in the shadow of Vesuvius had a less bloody ending.
