Granda is among the protagonists of the special ranking that the portal Facile.it he composed analyzing the proceeds that the Piedmontese municipalities realized during 2003 from fines and sanctions imposed on private individuals for violations of the rules of the Highway Code.
Made on data provided by Siop, the information system for the operations of public bodiesthe ranking first of all examines the provincial capitalshighlighting how Wedge is actually placed in the last positions, with just under 1.5 million euros collected from finescompared to 54 million Turinthe 3.7 of Alexandriathe 3 of Asti and the 2 of Novara. Following, Vercelli to 1.3 million, Biella at 1 e Verbania to 960 thousand.
The portal also calculated the value of “per capita fine”, i.e. the ratio between the revenues recorded in Siope and the number of resident inhabitants, specifying that obviously not all fines are inflicted on resident motorists and, indeed, in some areas, tourists and commuters contribute significantly to the overall figure. The analysis shows that Turin is also at the top of this new ranking, with a per capita fine of 64 euros, followed by Alessandria and Asti, both with 41 euro fines. Continuing to scroll through the ranking, Verbania (32 euros), Vercelli (30) and Cuneo (27 euros). Biella (24 euros) and Novara close the ranking, with a per capita fine of just 20 euros.
