PORDENONE – Paolo Rumiz, writer, journalist and traveller, loved by readers from all over Italy, returns to the bookshop on 8 May with a new book “The route to Lepanto”, published by Bottega Errante Edizioni.

On the occasion of the book’s release, Paolo Rumiz will meet his readers. Four meetings in Friuli Venezia Giulia, from Trieste to Pordenone, from Codroipo to Udine, where he will tell his adventures and his research, offering a unique look at history, human beings and the clash of civilisations.

It will begin on Wednesday 8 May at 6.30 pm in Trieste at the headquarters of the Italian Naval League where Paolo Rumiz will talk with Riccardo Cepach, head of the Svevo Museum and the Joyce Museum of Trieste.
The event is organized by Bottega Errante Edizioni, in collaboration with the Lega Navale Italiana Sede di Trieste and the Alpe Adria Cinema association.

Thursday 9 May the appointment is in Pordenone at 8.30 pm in the Capitol where Paolo Rumiz will talk with Daniele Zongaro, historic bookseller of Quo Vadis? Traveller’s Library.
The event is organized by the Circolo della Cultura e delle Arti, in collaboration with Cinema Zero, Dedica Festival Pordenone, Cooperativa Sociale Itaca, Quo Vadis? The traveller’s bookshop.

Following on Friday 10 May at 8.30 pm the author will be in Codroipo at the Benois De Cecco Theater where he will talk with Elisa Copetti, translator and editor of the Bottega Errante Edizioni publishing house. The event is organized by the Caffè Letterario Codroipese, in collaboration with the Municipality of Codroipo and Bottega Errante Edizioni.

On Saturday 11 May at 4.30pm Paolo Rumiz will be a guest of the Vicino/Lontano festival in Udine. Inside the Church of San Francesco he will give voice to Patria comune, a story in six stages through the idea of ​​Europe.
