Images from video surveillance systems are being studied to identify the unknown perpetrators who were the protagonists of two thefts in the historic center of Modica. Two, to be precise, predatory actions against public institutions, the Municipality and a school. Unknown persons, after having forced the entrance door, entered the municipal tourist office in Corso Umberto.

The discovery this morning at office opening time. They would have taken away a mobile phone with its cable and a computer. On the same night the headquarters of the Comprehensive Institute were also “visited”. “Santa Marta-Ciaceri” located in via Vittorio Veneto. Here too two computers were allegedly stolen. Thieves in action almost certainly looking for money and in any case loot that can be monetized. The investigations are carried out by the staff of the Modica State Police Commissariat who, thanks to an initial inspection and the acquisition of the video surveillance recordings installed in the area, hopes to have useful details for identifying the unknown perpetrators of the two thefts.
