1,300 athletes from 8 countries are expected

Athletes and nations

The proceeds from the free entry will be entirely donated to the Oltre Le Nuvole association. In total there will therefore be over 1,300 athletes (including 320 kids from 96 clubs) from eight countries (Italy, Argentina, Austria, France, Germany, Japan, Serbia and Switzerland) who will battle at the Palasport.

Saturday 11 at 8.30 the doors will open, then off to the races. At 9am Junior Individual Kata competition, Veterans A/B; at 10am Individual Kata Cadets, Seniors; at 11.30 Grand Champion Kata; at 12.30 Team Kata (cadets and absolute). At 2.30 pm we resume with the Individual Kata competition for Children, Teens, Hopes, Beginners followed by Team Kata (children and teenagers); at 5.30 pm the International Championship Karate for Kids and the Individual Kumite competition ‘Shobu Nihon’ Speranze, Beginners will begin.

Sunday 12thinstead, at 9 am Individual Kumite competition ‘Shobu Sanbon’ for men and ‘Shobu Ippon’ for women; at 11am Individual Kumite ‘Shobu Sanbon’ for women and ‘Shobu Ippon’ for men; at 1pm Grand Champion Kumite; at 2pm Team Kumite (cadets and absolute) and at 6pm it will end with the awards ceremony.
