Angelina Mango’s star shines in Rimini, on the stage in Piazzale Fellini on 26 and 27 July with Rds Summer Festival. The partnership between the city and the radio was announced yesterday morning, which will continue this year in the name of good music and events. In Rimini there is now no summer without Rds and this year the events are doubled. In addition to the usual moment with live radio broadcasts in Piazzale Kennedy from 28 June to 7 July, the long-awaited Rds Summer Festival is added.
The musical journey of the broadcaster which will bring the most loved artists of the current music scene to the stages of many Italian locations. There will be six stops in different Italian cities and one of these will be in Rimini on 26 and 27 July, in the heart of the city, in Piazzale Fellini.
Drum roll because among the many artists who will grace the Rimini stage, Angelina Mango has been announced, who has been holding the tricolor flag high at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmo since last night. The singer’s flagship hit ‘La noia’ with which she triumphed in the latest edition of Sanremo, thus arriving on the stage of the continental music festival.
The surprises didn’t end there, or rather the performances. Together with Mango, important names from the Italian and international music scene such as Baby K, Elodie, Fedez, The Kolors and many others will take to the stage.
Close to each stage, the cast will be revealed and will make the audiences of the respective cities sing and dance. Yesterday the first Rimini confirmation with Angelina Mango. Together with her, each of the two scheduled evenings will be animated by DJ sets by Rds. It was the mayor Jamil Sadegholvaad who named the first of the stars who will sing in Rimini.
On social media the singer underlined her enthusiasm and happiness at going on stage in Rimini.
Doing the honors on the stage in Piazzale Fellini were the friendly Rimini people Francesca Romana D’Andrea and Filippo Ferraro.
Samara Tramontana and Gaia Garavaglia, speaker of RdsNesxt, the group’s web radio created by GenZ for GenZ, will be present as hosts of the evening’s opening on the stage in Piazzale Fellini. They will have the pleasure of involving and presenting emerging talents thanks to the ‘Rds Summer Festival, the stage is yours’ project.
For the second consecutive year the initiative will give singers and bands from all over Italy the opportunity to perform on the Festival stage in front of thousands of people, opening the concerts of the greatest artists. An exceptional jury will preside over the casting, for which it will be possible to register from 15 May on the Rds website. At the end of the performances, an emerging artist will be chosen who will have the opportunity to record and publish an unreleased song.
