L’AQUILA – Memorial Day 2024 was held yesterday, i.e. the XXXII anniversary of the Capaci and Via D’Amelio massacres, entitled ‘Victims of duty: memory, values, justice and resilience’.
Organized by Provincial Secretariat of the Sap of L’Aquila with the patronage of the Abruzzo Region, the Province of L’Aquila and the Municipality of L’Aquila, the event celebrated all the victims of terrorism, the mafia, duty and every form of crime.
After the greetings, entrusted to the Police Commissioner of L’Aquila, Enrico De Simone, the following spoke: the Undersecretary of the Ministry of the Interior, Nicola Molteni; the president of the Abruzzo Regional Council, Lorenzo Sospiri; the judge of the Court of Naples, Antonio Sabella; the secretary of SAP L’Aquila, Claudia Pace; the Chief Psychologist Commissioner of the State Police, Andrea Pelliccione; the general secretary of SAP, Stefano Paoloni.
The meeting was held in the GSSI conference room, in L’Aquila, in the presence of local authorities and schools.
