The Serie C playoffs have begun with the first round of the group stage. On Saturday the fourth Triestina (A), Perugia (B) and Casertana (C) enter the second round: the pairings have been defined on the basis of placings (the best play at home against the worst) and they will still be one-off matches (at the end of the 90 ‘ the best classified passes).

Tuesday 14th and Saturday 18th With the six qualified teams coming in are the third-placed teams Vicenza (A), Carrarese (B) and Benevento (C), plus Catania (winner of the Italian Cup): they are home and away matches between the seeded teams (the four who enter plus the best placed among the qualifiers) and the other five; in case of a tie (without extra time), the top seed advances.
SECOND ROUND Tuesday 21st and Saturday 25th The five qualifiers are joined by the second-placed Padova (A), Torres (B) and Avellino (C): regulation as in the first round with four seeds.
FINAL FOUR SEMI-FINALS Tuesday 28th and Sunday 2nd June Challenges based on the scoreboard drawn for the previous round: in case of a draw after the return leg, there are extra time and then penalties. THE FINAL Wednesday 5th and Sunday 9th June Same rules as the semi-finals.
PLAYOUT FIRST WAY Sunday 12th, 6pm Fiorenzuola-Novara (A), Recanatese-Vis Pesaro (B), Monterosi-Potenza and Francavilla-Monopoli (C). RETURN Sunday 19th, 6pm Novara-Fiorenzuola (A) and Vis Pesaro-Recanatese (B); 8.30pm Potenza-Monterosi and Monopoli-Francavilla (C).
