Eurovision Song Contest 2024 starting Tuesday 7 May at Malmoin Sweden. The final of the event is scheduled for May 11th. Italy will participate with the singer Angelina and the song La Noia. The event, which will be broadcast in prime time on Rai2 on 7 and 9 May and on Rai1 on 11 May, will be hosted by the presenter Petra Mede and the actress Malin Åkerman. In Italy, however, management was entrusted to Gabriele Corsi And Mara Maionchi.

Actress Malin Åkerman will host the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with Petra Mede

Born in 1978, Malin Åkerman is a Swedish actress. She was born in Stockholm, but grew up in Canada. She currently lives in Los Angeles. Since her father lives in Falsterbo, Sweden, hosting her Eurovision feels like a homecoming for her. She has taken part in several films including The Knife’s Heart, 27 Dresses, Watchmen, The Proposal, Island of Couples and more recently Rampage, The Last Shot, Chick Fight and Slayers. I can’t describe what I feel. I’m excited and nervous at the same time, but in a good way. I have always loved Eurovision and being part of this amazing show together with Petra is a dream come true. Plus, Petra is one of the funniest women I’ve ever met.

Who are the Italian presenters commenting on the event

Gabriele Corsi and Mara Maionchi

The Italian presenters who will tell Italy about the Eurovision Song Contest will once again be the host Gabriele Corsi and the record producer Mara Maionchi. For Corsi this is the fourth edition at the helm of the event and he quips: “I want to become the Pippo Baudo of Eurovision“. For Maionchi it is the second experience after last year. Fresh from the controversy with Tiziano Ferro, he commented as follows during the press conference:
