TRIESTE What will work be like tomorrow? And what will be the new professions and new jobs? He will try to answer these questions on the first day of Festival of Change, starting this morning, 6 May, from 10am to 1.45pm in the foyer of the Teatro Verdi in Trieste (Victor de Sabata room). The day will start from the considerations contained in the position paper prepared by The European House – Ambrosetti (Thea), the think tank that organizes the prestigious Cernobbio Forum, with a specific focus on the situation in Italy and the Fvg area.

This year the event of the Venezia Giulia Chamber of Commerce with Thea will have important guests from the institutional and academic world. The Minister of Economy will speak at the opening of the meeting Giancarlo Giorgetti (via video link) and the day will be closed by the Deputy Minister of Labour, Maria Teresa Bellucci.

They will also speak in the final session (12.30-13.45). Paolo Benanti (via video link), theologian who chairs the Ia Commission for Information established at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, and the philosopher Maurizio Ferraris. The governor will bring greetings Massimiliano Fedriga and the mayor Roberto Dipiazza.

In the initial session (10-11.15), the world-famous futurologist and trendwatcher will also speak, Adjiedi Bakaswhose motto is – we read on the festival website –: «A kite flies higher when it is against the wind».

The second session (11.15-12.10), moderated by the director of the Nem group newspapers, Luca Ubaldeschi, will consist of a dialogue between teachers from the University of Trieste and Sissa (Alessandro Laio, Mauro Giacca, Paolo Edomi, Lucio Torelli) and the Fvg councilor for Work and Research, Alessia Rosolen.

There are many young people in the audience, around 100 seats are reserved for students.
