It is important to be united for a just and sacrosanct common cause: the DEFENSE OF THE HEALTH OF CITIZENS AND THE ENVIRONMENT in which they live.

For too many years now, the Crotone area has been affected by heavy and repeated pollution phenomena from old and new industrial plants and landfills, which have left indelible consequences on the environment and, unfortunately, on the health of the inhabitants.
Therefore, it remains extremely urgent to remove the pollutants present without further delay, remediate the sites and arrange for their disposal and transfer to other specifically designated areas outside the territory.

Reminding everyone, representatives of the institutions and ordinary citizens, that (…) the first objective of every public administration is to…”pursue the development of its territory, based on the principles of PRECAUTION AND RESPONSIBILITY”. Giving priority to quality of life and social equity and finally placing the maintenance of health above economic interest”… (Lorenzo Tomatis).

Crotone, 5 May 2024
