The journey of Tommaso Rocchi’s Lazio begins in the best possible way, making a loud statement in Puglia by beating Bari 1-3. After an initial phase of stalemate Monti opens the ball, but then comes the reply from Scardigno’s boys with the momentary parity regained thanks to Mastropasqua’s stamp. As the minutes passed, however, the second half slowly became more and more blue-white. Schettini scores Lazio’s new lead and at the end of the match Caputo puts the exclamation point on the dispute with the definitive hat-trick. A very important result for Lazio, which immediately breaks away from their Giallorossi cousins - defeated on Saturday in Campania – and joins Napoli at the top of the table.
